Happy Mother's Day
Mother’s day
Mother’s Day began in the United States to be the second Sunday of May back in the 19th century in the state of Pennsylvania, Chester county by a woman named Anna Jarvis. She wanted to honor her own mother after her mother’s passing and led the movement to honor mother’s everywhere and her work paid off in 1908. Later she regretted the commercialization and tried to have it undone but Mother’s Day had already become so popular with sales of flowers and greeting cards. She said
“A printed card means nothing except you are too lazy to write to the woman who has done more for you than anyone in the world”.

So In the spirit of the Founder of Mother’s Day write your mom a note (she’ll probably still love the card though, and the flowers, and most likely a gift too). Happy Mother’s Day!
