Space Needle

Took a ride up to the stop of the space needle!  It reminded me a lot of the top of the empire state building or Eiffel Tower in the way it's setup.  Pretty cool to learn that it was built in 1962 in the era of JKF with so many ideas in mind.  The view from the top provides beautiful views of the city, my personal recommendation is to see it at night when th city lights are out there, unless you want good photos with you and your party to be clear. 

The nighttime photos of the city are better at night but the space needle cameras don't capture your faces well in the dark.  The ferris wheel lights up and other lights make Seattle look very different at night.  We went at sunset hoping to catch a glimpse of a breathtaking sunset view, but clouds interfered with that.
