Welcome to another FiveMinuteJourney! From a day to a couple of days in Seattle Washington there are a few places you gotta see!
First, of course, is the Seattle Space Needle. you can check out it's own page and video in another FiveMinuteJourney. There's the Seattle Museum of Pop Culture, the Gum Wall in the famous Pike Place Market (just be ready to smell the fish that have been thrown around all day) a grumpy old troll who lives under the bridge is a fun drive by spot and if there isn't much traffic you can stop and see the troll statue. A Can't miss view of the city is found at Kerry Park and if you want a fun place to eat, if you like In n Out or Crown burger, drive in to Dick's Drive In! you don't actually get to drive into it and it's not like a Sonic where they bring it out to you, but the atmosphere is unique and there is a secret sauce that makes the burger it's own unlike any other. Another stop is by the Mariners stadium and the Seahawks, side by side, be careful on game nights with traffic but they are great stadiums. Lastly, and the very last thing i saw before heading back to the airport was Alki Beach, see if you can find the replica of the Statue of Liberty, the west coast version...beautiful place to catch a sunset and watch the waves roll by. If you think I missed anyyhing spectacular in Seattle let me know and remember to leave your own FiveMinuteJourney at www.fiveminutejourney.com.
